Lionrock - Wilmslow Road

It's time for a flash from the nineties. One of my favourite albums in 1996, well, one of the best albums of the nineties really was An Instinct For Detection by Lionrock. In my opinion it's a very underestimated album that no one hardly mentions which makes the aura of it even greater. Well for you who know it, you'll probably agree with me. For the rest of you... go hunt down this album.

Wings - Band On The Run (Woolfy Edit)

I played a miniset at a gathering yesterday and one of the crowds favourite was Woolfys edit of Band On The Run which made me rediscover this marvelous edit. Here you go as well if you missed it when it came out.

Teddy Pendergrass 1950-2010 R.I.P.

Teddy Pendergrass passed away yesterday. One of the truly big and original voices in the field och soul and disco. His work as a solo artist as well as his work in Harold Melvin And The Blue Notes will be remembered as long as I'm alive anyway. Since I'm too tired to rip my vinyls right now I'll give you some golden Teddy moments through spotify instead.

Four Tops - Without The One You Love (Life's Not Worthwhile) / Love Has Gone

Here's two teardrenched lovesongs from the one and only Four Tops from their second motown single, their follow up to Baby I Need Your Loving. It's not that uptempo this time, but sometimes you need to slow down as well, so here you go, from me to you, two golden motown moments with the Four Tops.

Three Chairs - Roots of Detroit

Today I was in the mood for some classic detroit-deephouse. Since all good things got their roots in detroit I think I'll post some nice Motown groove later on today as well. Have a beautiful day til then.
