The Basement Tapes

About 5 years ago I had a radio show back in Gothenburg called Soulsville GBG. When I was diggin' in the basement today I found the recorded shows from that period. Some of them are quite good. I'm talking in Swedish on the shows but the music is soul to the bone, so relax, have a listen and enjoy 2 of the shows. If you'd like to hear more I can put up more some other day. Take care...

The Badical

The Badical posted me a couple of tunes.

See for your self what you think of them. I think they're heavy stuff.

The Geeky 80's

Here's something for you knuckleheads out there to show I haven't forgotten y'all.

First a typical 80's song that has been sampled various times. The most famous one has to be Uniting Nations version of the song. Hall & Oates is a 80's band that needs no further presentation.
Hall & Oates - Out of Touch (Dub Version)

I really love how Xinobi have cut out the synthezised melody line from Rockwell's Somebody's Watching Me. Great!

Long time no see

Hey y'all!

It's been a while since last time, so I thought I'd begin the month of April with two songs one classic and one future classic. The first one is by the leadsinger from Harold Melvin and The Blue Notes. Yes, it's Teddy Pendergrass I'm talking about. The first song from his self-titled debut album is nothing else than a super-disco song.

The second song I'm putting up today is from the genius band Justice. For those of you who missed Justice and other material from Ed Banger have got to take a listen to this. Of course I love Phantom but the newer song D.A.N.C.E. is even better. Ladies and gentlemen: The new Daft Punk!
