Moody - Ol' Dirty Vinyl (U Used To Know)
Because I haven't posted anything for a long time I will post you one of my current favourites. Kenny Dixon Jr have been one of my favourites since the nineties, and even though he had moments during the years where he didn't quite deliver he has through the years released incredible music as Moodymann. His latest 12" is not an exception.

I also want to take a moment to let you know that I strongly support Ship to Gaza and I hope that the world shall do something this time to stop Israel and not just talk like they always do when Israel don't abide to international laws. My thoughts go out to the families to those killed by the israeli military. May they not have died for nothing.

Why do you have to put politics with disco? it's ridiculous. i was enjoying your blog and then i have to get a slap in the face....
Most good music is in different ways political. Moodymann in his ways of describing his environment in his music or Chic in camouflaging political messages in slick disco music.
A Night Out With Disco Dave will never crawl for any one. I will speak about injustices when it's called for or whenever I feel like it, even though this is mainly a music blog. If that means giving someone a slap in the face sometimes, so be it.
May God bless you and keep you, until then...
